My wife and I were living in Metro Detroit and about to move to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan after our first child was born. Upon opening doors here of Taylored Weddings we performed the way most DJs did: showing up after dinner, same old playlists, same old lighting setups, same old dances, same old everything!
I knew there had to be something more in regards to providing phenomenal entertainment for couples celebrating one of the most important days of their life.
With the help of some AMAZING couples, I found my passion for weddings and in turn have grown Taylored Weddings into a full time wedding company in Escanaba, MI: a feat most say couldn’t be done. It’s funny now to think of the same old same old. Have you ever been to a wedding and felt like you’d seen it before? That won’t happen with us at the helm of your event. Why? Because we’re tired of the boring wedding reception too.

Brad Borchardt comes to Taylored Weddings with over a decade of dedication to customer service. Brad became a Master of Ceremonies due to his love of bringing special moments to people’s lives, music, and entertaining others. Brad is someone who wants to make each and every wedding reception unique and fun while making sure each client detail is well covered. Brad enjoys working with everyone from volunteering with high school students to working with couples to create special moments.

Hailing from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Simon Rose’s interests are broad, ranging from music to working on cars. He is personable and eager to work with new clients. He has a strong passion for working in the UP and working with couples and their families. Simon loves helping create lasting memories, and is passionate about the intimacy that Taylored Weddings shares with their clients, from the smallest of ceremonies to the most gigantic of parties.
