I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Barb in a vendor client relationship for the past several years.  I admire her work ethic and how she always tries to connect her clients to the right advertising vehicle for them in her role as sales manager for local radio stations.  Upon hearing the news of her getting married to Jim, I was thankful to be asked to serve as not only her entertainment, but also as her Minister for her ceremony.  We also provided the ceremony sound so guests could hear her and Jim’s vows to each other.  As luck would have it on that rainy day, we would end up inside for their ceremony instead of the beautiful backdrop of Waubee Lake.  That, however, did not diminish Barb and Jim’s spirits on their wedding day.  The team:

Venue:  Waubee Lake Lodge

Alaina and I met courtesy of her Mom being at Kim and Tim’s reception last September.  Alaina contacted me on a Monday in June and I noticed she was calling from the Kentucky area.  I happened to be in East Tennessee at the time for a conference I was invited to speak at and we ended up meeting that Thursday in Knoxville, TN to discuss her wedding plans.  That meeting was a GREAT start to planning for a wonderful couple such as Alaina and Clayton.  They met through wrestling practice at River Valley High School when Alaina was helping during her training for the 2008 Olympic trials and Clayton was mutual friends with the wrestling coach.

Wow!  What a wedding…what a Father Daughter dance!  Definitely one of if not THE most memorable of my career.  Our photographer Jen from Wren Photography was crying and the bridesmaids were asking for Kleenex.  The setting was the Terrace Bay Inn on the shores of Lake Michigan and it was beautifully decorated by Tiffany of Final Touches Designs.  Decor lighting for the head table and columns at the Terrace were supplied by Taylored Weddings, along with the Live Montages on the screens.  That’s the team….now let’s hear the rest of the story.
