I think I’m still in shock over Scottie’s Maid Of Honor’s toast. Scottie and Brian came to me with the task of creating an event never before seen in the U.P., and definitely didn’t want a presentation similar to a traditional Yooper wedding. They invited 600 of their family and friends to join them on this day and it was a beautiful day weather wise for them. From the first moment of meeting Scottie I knew that she was Daddy’s Little Girl, and her and her father have quite a unique relationship that was definitely reflected in their Father Daughter dance. More on that in a minute.

The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards ™ recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined by recent reviews and extensive surveys from over 500,000 newlyweds. This year’s winners represent the top five percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which consists of over 100,000 local wedding professionals nationwide.
I sincerely want to thank each and every couple who I had the pleasure of working with in 2009 that helped me to achieve this award. Without your support and friendship, there wouldn’t be the services represented with Taylored Weddings. Thank you!

Lisa, Lance and I met to discuss the intricacies of planning their wedding from China and Lance’s mother Lisa seemed so glad to have assistance in planning this wedding. They held their reception on a snowy Saturday in December at the Elks Lodge of Manistique.
