Guys get off easy in weddings in general.  The Best Man is no exception.  While the Maid Of Honor has A LOT of responsibility…being the Best Man is normally a piece of cake (no pun intended).  Here are a few basic responsibilities that the Best Man normally has.  This picture was taken from one of my favorite Best Man toasts of all time.  The important thing is to have fun with your toast.  Saturday, June 13th of 2009 Mordi Young married the love of his life Ashley Kutches and this picture is from Ed’s (their Best Man’s) speech.  Ed and Mordi bear quite a striking resemblance to each other so they decided to use that and have a bit of fun by “switching” faces at the reception for the Best Man toast.  Very creative, unique and made for a memorable moment.

Alcohol by Brad Paisley topped the charts at #4 in radio…but it’s something to definitely discuss with your bride, immediate family members and wedding party BEFORE your reception gets here.  Not only who is paying for what, or what will be displayed and consumed on your wedding night, but also who handles those who imbibe too much?  This is a touchy subject for some but something you definitely want to have a plan for going into that evening and not something decided the last minute.
